Jankovic admires new Palermo
Tuesday 1 July, 2008

Palermo youngster Bosko Jankovic is delighted with the way the Rosanero’s squad is developing.

The former Red Star man signed for the Sicilians last summer and played a minor role in last season’s disappointment.

But Palermo have invested heavily this year with 10 new additions and Jankovic believes that the future is bright.

“I really like this squad,” he said to the Giornale Di Sicilia. “On a physical level, there aren’t many sides that are as strong as us.

“Some very good players have arrived and they can help us compete at the very highest level next season.

“Some players with big personalities have left, such as Andrea Barzagli and Amauri, so we all have to give a little bit more.”

Palermo will start next season under the guidance of Stefano Colantuono, who was sacked and reinstated during last term.
