"Details" separate Dinho and Milan
Tuesday 15 July, 2008

Ronaldinho is “just a few details” away from joining Milan, read a statement on the club's official website.

“There is a good chance that Ronaldinho's move to Milan will be completed,” said lawyer Leandro Cantamessa.

“There are just a few details missing, but our legal team has already drawn up the necessary paperwork.”

General manager Adriano Galliani is currently in Barcelona to complete the negotiations for a rumoured £14.7m transfer.

“I spoke to Galliani, he is relaxed. I should point out though that nobody has put pen to paper quite yet. We are all waiting for news.”

The Rossoneri have beaten Manchester City to Ronaldinho's signature despite offering almost half their £25.5m bid.

The Brazilian has made it very clear he prefers a switch to San Siro and refused to attend pre-season training at the Nou Camp.

Yesterday evening Barca gave him 72 hours to decide upon his future or resume his career with the Spaniards.

Official word on the transfer is expected by this evening so Ronaldinho can be presented to the media for the start of Milan's pre-season training on Wednesday.
