Azzurri midfielder Gennaro Gattuso is still hoping that Ronaldinho will join Milan, in spite of fierce competition from Manchester City.
The Rossoneri have made it clear that they are looking to lure the former FIFA World Player of the Year and Dinho has confessed that he wants to play at San Siro.
However, Manchester City have reportedly offer Barcelona £26m, prompting Ronaldinho to demand that Milan match that bid to secure his services.
“He would be very welcome because he is a great champion,” Gattuso told the Corriere dello Sport.
“Don’t be fooled by appearances – his weight isn’t a problem. We just need to discover why it is happening in order to solve it.
“We need a player like him. I don’t think he has forgotten how to play.
“Are his problems to do with his lifestyle? I’d bring him to live with me in Cardano al Campo so that he can keep temptation away,” he concluded.
