The Ronaldinho saga is intensifying with news that if Milan don't match Manchester City's offer within 48 hours, he'll go to Eastlands.
City have long made their interest in the Barcelona outcast clear, but he has always maintained he will only leave the Nou Camp for a switch to San Siro.
This morning reports in Spain, Italy and Brazil were buzzing that a move to Milan would be completed in the next 48 hours when he refuses to attend pre-season training.
However, Barca still have a trick up their sleeve and so does Dinho. It is now reported on Televisio de Catalunya that Manchester City are being used as a bargaining tool to rush the Rossoneri.
If Milan do not match City's £26m offer within the next 48 hours, Ronaldinho's agent will accept the transfer to the Premier League.
Secretly the Brazilian is hoping it doesn't come to this, as he is willing to take a pay cut for the Diavolo, but it is the only way to force them into completing the deal with Barcelona.
The reports suggest Barca are pushing Ronaldinho towards Manchester, where they would be able to cash in on the player far more than Milan's £11m bid.
He is currently training in Porto Alegre and is furious with Barcelona for vetoing his call-up to the Beijing Olympics.
