| Lotito open to Veron return |

Lazio chief Claudio Lotito has responded positively to Juan Sebastian Veron's statement that he would relish a return to the Eternal City.
Veron was a key figure in Lazio's success at the start of the millennium when he lifted the Scudetto, the Coppa Italia and the Italian Super Cup.
Eventually the Argentine international left for Manchester United and currently plays for hometown club Estudiantes.
The 33-year-old has dazzled fans in Argentina and hinted yesterday that he would like to return to Lazio.
I am considering an offer because he was voted the best player in South America last year, Lazio supremo Lotito admitted to the Corriere dello Sport.
We could maybe do what we did with Ousmane Dabo, who returned after two years with Manchester City.
Lotito also stressed his support for Coach Delio Rossi, who is set for a contract renewal.
Rossi's contract is a secondary issue, he said. The people who deserve to be here will continue to move forward with the club.
We have always shown trust and admiration for Rossi, even in times of difficulty.
