There are whispers that Inter may offer Hernan Crespo plus a large cash sum for Lazio striker Tommaso Rocchi.
Inter are believed to be looking for a new striker as Adriano's future remains up in the air.
A number of names have been linked with the Beneamata and the latest is that of Lazio star Rocchi.
The Venetian marksman has been a pivotal figure for the capital club in recent times, but he hasn't been guaranteed a first-team place this term because of the emergence of Mauro Zarate.
According to Leggo, Inter may offer Rocchi a way out by approaching Lazio with an exchange deal.
Inter could be willing to table a bid of nearly £9m with Argentine outcast Crespo sent to the capital.
Crespo wore the Lazio shirt between 2000 and 2002 and scored an impressive 52 goals in 70 appearances.
