Palermo priced out of Pazzini
Tuesday 6 January, 2009

Palermo Vice-President Guglielmo Miccichè admits the Rosanero want Giampaolo Pazzini but doubts a move is possible.

Former Under-21 ace Pazzini is struggling to find first-team football with Fiorentina and could look for a fresh start in 2009.

A number of sides have expressed an interest in the frustrated marksman, but it seems he could be out of reach.

“Pazzini is the impossible dream of many Serie A sides and three or four foreign clubs,” Miccichè told TGS.

“He is without a doubt a young player of great quality. He did very well at Atalanta and is doing good things in Florence.

“But at Palermo we are always careful in the transfer market. The player is very expensive and I think it would be difficult for him to arrive here.”
