Lazio are on the brink of completing a swoop for CFR Cluj fantasista Sebastian Dubarbier.
The Argentine star caught the eye with impressive performances against Roma in the Champions League.
And the Giallorossi's city rivals Lazio are close to agreeing terms for the talented midfielder's arrival.
Talks with Lazio are at an advanced stage, Cluj chief Iulio Muresan confirmed. Dubarbier could become a Biancocelesti player soon.
The player's agent, Paolo Sabbag, who also represents Lazio 'keeper Juan Pablo Carrizo, has also given an update on the situation.
Lazio are really interested in Dubarbier and Claudio Lotito would like to sign him in January, but it would be hard for him to arrive in January, he explained.
Cluj are reportedly demanding nearly £5m for Dubarbier but Lazio may get that fee down to £3m.
Dubarbier has a French passport and would count as an EU player.
