Christian Poulsen admits his long injury lay-off has been “frustrating” as Juventus continually reshuffle their midfield.
The Dane was brought in amid fan protests and media cynicism during the summer, but soon won over the Serie A community with his performances.
However, he has been out of action for almost two months and, with Cristiano Zanetti recovering and Claudio Marchisio very impressive, Poulsen could find himself frozen out.
“If I could, then I would start it all over again,” he told Danish newspaper Ekstra Bladet.
“Watching my teammates from the sidelines has been extremely frustrating for me.”
Tiago Mendes is in a similar position, as he was just beginning to show some form when struck down by an injury.
