Kaka points out Milan’s Dubai training camp is not only crucial on a physical and psychological level, but also to help the team gel.
“It is great being here in Dubai for the second year running,” commented the Brazilian Ballon d’Or winner.
“Being together every day and doing group activities really helps the squad to become even stronger. It is a positive thing for us.
“We are working for common goals so that, at the end of the day, we can achieve great things. They may not be as impressive as 2007, but are still worth having.”
The Rossoneri won the Champions League, European Super Cup and Club World Cup titles in 2007, but this season are out of the Coppa Italia, nine points adrift of Serie A leaders Inter and will face Werder Bremen in the UEFA Cup.
“2008 will remain a special year for me in any case because my son was born. As a football player it wasn’t as bright a year as the one before, but still good,” continued Kaka.
“Milan are hungry and I hope 2009 will be full of victories for me and the team, improving our consistency in this second half of the season.
“The objectives are the Scudetto and UEFA Cup, while on a personal level I’d like to reach my 100th goal for the Rossoneri and return one day to Paris to pick up the Ballon d’Or.”
Kaka lifted the trophy in 2007 and was followed by Manchester United’s Cristiano Ronaldo.
