Roma striker Julio Baptista has failed a fitness test and will start on the bench for this evening's game against Palermo.
The capital club are on superb form as they host a Palermo side also enjoying a fine run in Serie A.
Luciano Spalletti will have to do without Brazilian hitman Baptista because he is still feeling pain in his shoulder.
Inspirational captain Francesco Totti is ready to start after coming off the bench against Napoli.
Mirko Vucinic is also fit, as is Alberto Aquilani, who will celebrate his 100th Roma appearance.
Brazilian international defender Cicinho is expected to play instead of Marco Cassetti.
Roma (probable): Doni; Cicinho, Mexes, Juan, Riise; Perrotta, De Rossi, Brighi, Aquilani; Totti, Vucinic
