Los Angeles Galaxy boss Bruce Arena has reacted angrily to suggestions that David Beckham will sign for Milan permanently.
The England international is currently on loan at San Siro until March 8 when LA Galaxy report for pre-season training.
However, Beckham seems to be enjoying life in Italy and the Rossoneri seem keen on the idea of bringing the ex-Manchester United man in on a permanent basis.
I'll say what we have always said - the loans of Landon Donovan and Beckham end on March 8, Arena bellowed.
We have never said anything different and I'm not sure it's appropriate for club officials at the biggest clubs in the world to make comments without having made contact with us.
If I had a player on loan then I wouldn't be talking about acquiring him unless I had spoken to the club.
Galaxy agreed to the loan and have kept to our side of things, but we can't be responsible for what other Coaches, Presidents, players or lawyers do.
