Serie A: Post-Match Comments
Sunday 25 January, 2009

Bologna 1-4 Milan
Assistant Manager Angelo Antenucci: “The game got more difficult after Mudingayi's red card, but it didn't end there, as we kept the pressure on and fought hard. These values will serve us well as the season goes on. When Milan are playing like this, it's an honour to watch them.”
Carlo Ancelotti: Comments

Genoa 1-1 Catania
Gian Piero Gasperini: “Catania played better than we did. In the second half we were dangerous despite the disallowed goal and Matteo Ferrari's red card.”
Assistant Manager Giuseppe Irrera: “The lads put a great deal of effort in today. We are satisfied with the performance and of course regret the fact we could have won this game.”

Lazio 1-4 Cagliari
Delio Rossi: “It was a strange game, as after just five minutes we were 2-1 down. It all went wrong, especially in defence. All we can salvage from this game is the effort we put into fighting back.”
Massimiliano Allegri: “The hard work is paying off. The team is playing at a high level, but at the start things certainly weren't going that well. I must thank President Cellino for believing in me.”

Lecce 3-3 Torino
Mario Beretta: “After the second goal we conceded, we did well to react. It's a shame we did not win, but we were facing an organised side.”
President Urbano Cairo: “I saw an excellent reaction and we never gave up despite the tiredness from playing in the Coppa Italia on Thursday. We need to be more focused in defence.”

Napoli 0-3 Roma
Edy Reja: Comments
Luciano Spalletti: Comments

Palermo 3-2 Udinese
Davide Ballardini: “We beat an excellent squad by sustaining pressure and fighting. I must compliment Fabio Simplicio, as he is truly crucial for us. We want to carry on like this.”
Pasquale Marino: “We are paying a heavy price for our slips in concentration. We had the chance to score with Fabio Quagliarella, but instead conceded another goal.”

Siena 1-0 Atalanta
Marco Giampaolo: “We are playing very well and are particularly consistent on home turf. We need to improve on our travels, though, as we are still not safe.”
Gigi Del Neri: “A draw would have been the right result. We weren't too accurate in the first half, but with a bit more luck could've equalised. We also hit the woodwork and created several chances.”
