The 27-year-old has impressed for the Orobici this season, netting 10 goals in 19 Serie A appearances.
He has already been tipped for a future Italy call-up by Marcello Lippi and is a known transfer target for Roma.
However, his scoring exploits have also attracted the attention of several overseas clubs, according to the latest reports.
The Spanish sides are particularly interested, as Atletico Madrid and Villarreal are both tracking Floccari’s progress.
Newcastle United are also lining up a bid for the former Messina hitman and all this ‘heat’ around the player has pushed his price-tag up to £12m.
Atalanta teammate Luca Cigarini is hot property too, as the midfielder owned by Atalanta and Parma is on Fiorentina’s wish-list.
