Bologna new recruit Massimo Mutarelli has explained why he feels so let down by former side Lazio.
The 31-year-old went through the courts to rescind his contract with Lazio and signed a contract with Bologna yesterday.
I am happy and I will be better still when I get back on the pitch, Mutarelli said on Radio Erre 2.
I still need a little time because I haven't played for six months, but I'm not scared of hard work.
I had some horrible months at Lazio because they stopped me playing the sport that I love and that had repercussions for my physical and mental condition.
You can't always agree with everyone, but there are certain ways that people must conduct themselves.
I suffered an attack on my person that went beyond my status as a player. There were various reasons but I didn't understand because I always gave my best.
I'm still disappointed with lots of people at Lazio and that's upsetting because it has tarnished my relationships in Rome off the pitch.
