| Mazzarri: All about the result |

Walter Mazzarri was visibly relieved after his Sampdoria side overcame Udinese on penalties to reach the Coppa Italia semi-finals.
It was a battle between two sides that have been struggling badly in the League as Samp hosted Udinese and ran out 4-1 victors in a penalty shoot-out.
The Blucerchiati led courtesy of new boy Giampaolo Pazzini but conceded an equaliser and had a let-off when Antonio Di Natale hit the post with an 88th-minute penalty.
The important thing wasn't how we played but the result that we managed to get, Mazzarri insisted after the final whistle.
I liked the way we approached the game because we were going through a crisis.
We won by digging deep and suffering and that's what I wanted from the players.
Udinese are a great team, even though they are having a tough time. I don't know what is going on with them, but once they get a win and relax it will fall back in place.
Antonio Di Natale, Simone Pepe, Gaetano D'Agostino and Alexis Sanchez are all great players and this was an important win for us.
Mazzarri finished with words of praise for scorer Pazzini, who signed from Fiorentina last week.
Pazzini is a great investment, he declared. Scoring will surely help him mentally.
