Milan starlet Thiago Silva is set to make his debut tonight when the Rossoneri meet Hannover 96 in a friendly.
The 24-year-old Brazilian joined Milan from Fluminense in December, but isnt eligible to play in Serie A until June because the Rossoneri already signed two non-EU nationals last summer.
I am ready, said the former Porto and Spartak Moscow defender. Today is a very important moment for me, a moment that I have waited for.
Its a friendly but remains my first game in the Milan jersey. I hope it all goes to plan and that I play well.
Thiago Silva went on to reveal that Milans many Brazilians have helped him to adapt quickly to life in Italy.
[Alexandre] Pato is a great friend of mine, we got to know each other while playing for Brazil. I am also particularly happy, as I am sure all Milan fans are, that Kaka is still here.
He is football, explained Silva. And with him I hope that Milan can celebrate a victory at the end of the season.
Milan currently lie third in Serie A, six points adrift of leaders Inter. They travel to Bologna this weekend.
