| Gasperini silences Euro talk |

Gian Piero Gasperini's Genoa is in fourth place, but the Coach will not stand for Champions League talk.
“We have never hidden our ambitions, but we cannot make proclamations about the Champions League,” warned the tactician after a 2-0 win away to Lecce.
“We will continue playing the way we know how and then see what happens. Today we had a lot of chances in the first half, then broke away in the second half.
“We have never been so high up the table, but every point in our tally was fully deserved.”
Today's results allowed Genoa to leapfrog Napoli into fourth place, as the Azzurri fell 2-1 at bottom of the table Chievo.
The Rossoblu's away form had let them down, but this win at Lecce's Stadio Via del Mare boosts confidence, especially as it was achieved without injured star striker Diego Milito.
“Now we are waiting for Milito to return. He is an important added value for the side. We are relaxed, because even without him we have achieved some great results.”
