Kaladze: Kaka will stay
Friday 16 January, 2009

Kakha Kaladze has joined the list of teammates reassuring fans that Kaka will not leave Milan for Manchester City.

The Brazilian and his club are reportedly considering a £107m offer from Eastlands, with a contract worth £500,000 per week.

“In my view, Kaka will remain at Milan,” insisted the Georgian international defender.

Kaladze has other matters to think about, as he will fly to Antwerp on Monday for a specialist consultation with Professor Marc Martens.

“Let us just say that now I am not playing, the knee certainly feels better. I am not putting weight on it and we will see what Professor Martens says.

“I admit that I am afraid an operation will be considered necessary. It’s not a positive thing to go under the knife, but if I have to undergo an operation, then I will. What else can I do?”
