The agent of Azzurri defender Fabio Cannavaro refuses to shut the door on a move to Napoli, but he's awaiting contract talks with Real Madrid.
The 35-year-old stopper has been with the Bernabeu outfit since leaving Juventus in the aftermath of the Calciopoli scandal, but his contract expires next June.
Cannavaro has always stressed his desire to close his career at hometown side Napoli, but that may not be a possibility.
We aren't ruling out a move to Napoli, said Canna's agent Gaetano Fedele.
We are weighing things up at the moment and we are behaving in a calm fashion.
Before the end of January, we will meet with Real to discuss a possible contract extension, but there is no doubt that Fabio will finish the current campaign in Madrid.
According to Spanish newspaper Marca, Cannavaro will join Napoli at the end of the season on a two-year contract as long as the Vesuviani qualify for the Champions League.
Qualification for Europe's top club competition would be necessary to allow Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis to meet Cannavaro's wage demands of over £3m per season.
