| Milan for Silva-Biava swap? |

Milan could send new recruit Thiago Silva to Genoa on loan in exchange for central defender Giuseppe Biava.
The Rossoneri are short of options at the back with Alessandro Nesta, Daniele Bonera, Philippe Senderos and Kakha Kaladze all injured.
While Milan have secured the signature of Brazilian star Thiago Silva, he won't be able to play for them until next season because they have reached their quota of non-EU players for the campaign.
As Vice-President Adriano Galliani has confirmed that there will be no more spending this winter, the solution may be a loan exchange.
According to Tuttosport, Thiago Silva could be sent to Genoa, where he would be able to play, and experienced stopper Biava may wear the Milan shirt until June.
On paper, it seems the deal could benefit all parties, but Genoa Coach Gian Piero Gasperini may be reluctant to let Biava leave as the Grifone continue to fly high.
