Atalanta starlet Luca Cigarini has told his teammates to pick themselves up after they lost 3-2 at Palermo on Sunday.
The Orobici came back from 2-0 down to make the score 2-2 before Edison Cavani popped up to score Palermos winner with 10 minutes remaining.
Its a shame, explained the 22-year-old former Parma youngster. We got back into it, equalised and then Cavanis goal changed the cards on the table.
On top of our mistakes, Palermo were cynical. They punished us. We will have to do better in the future.
The defeat leaves Atalanta 11th in Serie A after 18 games. They travel to Italian champions Inter this weekend.
Meanwhile, the Orobici are rumoured to be very close to signing Vicenza striker Alessandro Sgrigna, who has scored eight times in Serie B this season.
Atalanta are believed to be lining the 28-year-old up as a replacement for Sergio Floccari who has been linked with a move to Roma.
