Walter Mazzarri: “We got off to a good start, then we had to fight back against an organised Siena side. Bizarrely, the moment we took the lead we then lost momentum, mainly because we used up so much energy to get back into the game. Siena deserved the point, so we must reflect on our mistakes.”
Marco Giampaolo: “We played well and reacted the right way to last week's defeat. We had the chances to win here and a possible penalty on Massimo Maccarone, but the draw is acceptable. Nicola Amoruso and Maccarone gave us more control of the ball.”
