Juventus face a battle from Barcelona to take advantage of Franck Ribery’s split with Bayern Munich.
The French international is eager to quit the Bundesliga after just two years, having won the German Footballer of the Year title back in June 2008.
“I cannot be indifferent to the interest of the big clubs,” the 25-year-old told newspaper Le Monde.
He would be available for around £25m and this is not the first time that Juventus have been linked with Ribery.
However, Barcelona are also preparing their own offer and are reportedly willing to sell Thierry Henry in the summer for £12m to help fund the move.
Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport maintains there is an alternative for the Bianconeri, who are also tracking Valencia hero David Villa.
“Juve are one of the top European clubs, but Valencia do not want to sell him right now,” said agent Julio Gento Llorente.
There would be competition for Villa too, as he is of interest to Manchester United and Real Madrid.
