Mourinho brings back Balotelli
Friday 6 February, 2009

Inter tactician Jose Mourinho has recalled Mario Balotelli for the Nerazzurri's trip to Lecce and maintains he isn't feeling the pressure.

The Italian champions are still six points clear at the top but they could only manage a 1-1 draw with Torino.

“Milan and Juventus would be happy to change positions with us,” Mourinho pointed out.

“We don't have the problem. The others need to win every match and hope that we don't. We have six points over Milan and seven over Juve.

“What went wrong in the Torino game is between the players and me. I have been involved in many Leagues and the mentality is always the same.

“I don't feel under pressure or totally calm. Every game requires a minimum of tension in order to do well. If I win I am happy, if not I am less happy - that's the way I have always been as a Coach.”

Azzurrini marksman Balotelli has returned to the squad after being frozen out for showing a lack of effort in training.

“There are three ways things can go,” the Special One explained. “Either you don't do what I want, you do what I want because I told you to or you do what I want before I tell you to.

“Mario is in the second category. If he progresses to the third category then that's perfect but if he stays in the second then I am at least glad the first is over.

“He is a young player with potential, otherwise we wouldn't talk about him so much. I will be happy when I see him working hard without guidance.”
