Milan boss Carlo Ancelotti may turn to Ronaldinho against Reggina and is taking the threat of the bottom-placed side seriously.
Ronaldinho has been left on the bench since the arrival of England international David Beckham.
However, with Azzurri star Andrea Pirlo suspended for tomorrow's encounter, Dinho may get his chance.
Ronaldinho is available and I may well let him play tomorrow, Carletto revealed.
If he plays, it will be in the hole where he has always played. He is a hard-working player. He knows the rules of a big club and has always been very professional with us.
We were without Pirlo for the first two months of the season and we replaced him with Gennaro Gattuso, Clarence Seedorf and Mathieu Flamini.
He has certainly made a fantastic contribution in recent times, but we will get by without him.
Reggina are propping up the Serie A table but they picked up a battling 2-2 draw with Roma last weekend.
At this stage of the season all the games are difficult and it's even more difficult because we are trying to catch Inter.
We must keep up our momentum and keep winning to establish consistency.
On paper, Reggina are a weaker team than others but they are desperate to get out of trouble.
They have had two good results since the return of Nevio Orlandi and they will fight hard.
Ancelotti also discussed the possibility of Beckham arriving on a permanent basis.
Beckham has expressed his will to stay, he said. We are just looking for a solution but we have him here until March 9.
One thing is for sure, David didn't change Milan because we were competitive before he came but he has added a contribution that has been greater than we expected.
