| Catania loan out Alvarez |

Catania have confirmed that defender Pablo Sebastian Alvarez has joined Rosario Central on loan.
The 24-year-old joined the Sicilians in January 2008, but he has never secured a regular staring shirt.
Negotiations with Argentine side Rosario Central were nearly completed last month and the finishing touches have been put into place.
Catania only officially reported the deal today when they posted a short statement on their website.
Alvarez will return to his homeland on loan until the end of the season when Rosario will have the option to make the transfer permanent.
