| Atalanta pounce for Plasmati |

Atalanta have completed the signature of Catania marksman Gianvito Plasmati in a loan agreement.
The 25-year-old forward has worked his way up the calcio ladder, playing for seven sides en route to Catania with three loan spells since arriving at the Stadio Massimino.
Despite finding the net against Inter and Juventus, Plasmati is seen as surplus to requirements in Sicily and has been allowed to join Atalanta.
“We are talking about a player who will be very useful for us,” Atalanta sporting director Carlo Osti said.
“Plasmati is very strong in the air. He will arrive on loan with the option of making it a co-ownership agreement next summer.”
