Roma's injury problems just keep getting worse as midfielder Simone Perrotta will be out of action for a considerable period. Luciano Spalletti has been dealing with a decimated defence and may be without inspirational captain Francesco Totti for this weekend's game against Inter. And now the Tuscan tactician has been handed another blow with the news that former Chievo man Perrotta has a relatively serious injury. The Azzurri man limped out of training today a few hours after Totti had and the test results are worrying. Perrotta has a second-degree tear at the top of his hip - a problem that will need a considerable recovery period. The club won't put an estimated time frame on the injury, but such problems often take around two months to fully heal.
