Luciano Spalletti is planning a tactical reshuffle ahead of Roma's Champions League Second Round second leg with Arsenal in two weeks' time.
The Giallorossi lost the first leg 1-0 on Tuesday night and rarely got a hold on the game, disappointing their fans.
Roma played a 4-3-1-2 formation with a midfield based on substance rather than style and Arsenal played right through it.
The Giallorossi only looked threatening when they introduced the creative Chilean David Pizarro after 57 minutes.
Spalletti is expected to revert to the 4-2-3-1 system that has brought Roma considerable success in recent years, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.
However, for the tactics to work, the Giallorossi must change their attitude, run more and show a little more guile in central areas.
Roma are back in action on the domestic front this weekend when they travel to League leaders Inter.
