Inter midfielder Dejan Stankovic is ready for tomorrow night's Champions League tie with Manchester United at San Siro.
The Serb only played the second half against Bologna on Saturday as Coach Jose Mourinho looked to keep his legs fresh for Europe.
When Mourinho says that Inter are stronger than Manchester United it gives me an incredible faith in our own means, Stankovic told Il Corriere dello Sport.
Mourinho is a guarantee. He knows Manchester United well. He knows how to put them in difficulty and what we have to do.
We have prepared very well for the game, doing a great job from a psychological point of view, Stankovic added. Mourinho has left us in no doubt on what we have to do.
The 30-year-old former Lazio talisman also revealed he isn't scared of the English and European champions.
I am not thinking about elimination as we did in the past because you only get a few chances in your lifetime to be a protagonist in a game like this.
I have almost won everything with Inter, but I don't want to stop with having gone no further than the quarter-finals of the Champions League because we have the potential to go all the way.
Overcoming Manchester United will give us the motivation and the drive to reach the Champions League Final, he concluded.
Stankovic has been excellent for Inter this season playing at the top of a midfield diamond. He has scored five goals in 20 Serie A appearances in 2008-09.
