Napoli Coach Edy Reja insists his job is safe and he will stay at the club despite a recent run of bad form.
The Partenopei topped the table earlier this season, but have fallen to 10th in Serie A after failing to win in each of their last seven games.
Napoli lost 1-0 at home to Genoa on Sunday and the fans voiced their concern, protesting for hours after the game.
I have always felt Napoli at my side, Reja told journalists minutes after announcing that his players will be in ritiro for the rest of the week.
Whenever Aurelio De Laurentiis, Pier Paolo Marino and I have spoken, I have always been the most critical and they have tried to calm me.
Reja has been at Napoli since 2004 and famously led them to consecutive promotions from the Third and Second Divisions in 2006 and 2007.
The Partenopei are back in action at the weekend when they travel to second placed Juventus who beat Palermo on Saturday.
