| Line-ups: Trez centre stage in Sicily |
Saturday 21 February, 2009 |
|
Amauri is on the bench against his former club, as Juventus partner David Trezeguet with Vincenzo Iaquinta in Palermo.
The Brazilian left Sicily in the summer, but is rested ahead of the Champions League trip to Chelsea along with Alessandro Del Piero, Olof Mellberg and Christian Poulsen.
Pavel Nedved and Momo Sissoko do start, while Mauro Camoranesi and Giorgio Chiellini aim to get some match fitness.
Palermo have a former Juve star in their ranks, as the inspirational Fabrizio Miccoli partners Edison Cavani with support from Fabio Simplicio.
This is a potentially decisive encounter in the Scudetto race, as due to Inter's earlier win at Bologna, a defeat will leave Juventus 12 points adrift.
Check back for half-time and full reports with extensive post-match comments.
