Jose puts Bologna first
Friday 20 February, 2009

Inter boss Jose Mourinho insists he is only concentrating on Bologna despite an epic encounter with Manchester United looming large.

The Nerazzurri have taken control of Serie A and have a significant cushion at the top after last weekend's derby win over Milan.

But Mourinho won't let his men take their eyes off their domestic demands as the Press start to talk about the visit of Manchester United.

“We still need at least 25 more points to win the Scudetto,” Mourinho told journalists.

“That's why we need to be thinking about Bologna and then after that we can focus on Manchester United.

“I won't mix up the squad. Bologna is no joke - whoever laughs about the Felsinei won't be playing on Tuesday.”

Mourinho stressed his respect for Bologna's Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic, who was the right-hand man of his predecessor Roberto Mancini.

“He has only been a Coach for three or four months but I think he has the potential to have an important career,” the Special One stated.

“Mihajlovic did come to our training now and again but while it is good to know your opposition it is crucial to get your team's identity right.”

Adriano seems to have reformed himself and scored the opening goal in last weekend's derby win.

“It's great that he isn't banned,” Mourinho said. “He is never late now and is training well.

“If a player behaves himself throughout the week and in games then it is perfect for me.”
