Inter refuse to give up in their attempt to bring Argentine starlet Sergio Aguero to San Siro, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.
The Nerazzurri have long been linked with Aguero and even sought the counsel of Diego Maradona, whose daughter is expecting a child by the Atletico Madrid attacker.
Maradona keeps pushing me to go to Italy, Aguero said in a recent interview. He would actually like me to partner Zlatan Ibrahimovic because then we would be the strongest strike pairing in the world.
When asked how soon he would act on Maradona's advice, the 20-year-old replied: For now I don't want to betray Atletico.
Aguero has challenged Lionel Messi for the title of Best Player in La Liga over the last two years. He has scored 14 goals in 29 appearances for Atletico this season.
