Juventus striker Amauri has revealed he cannot wait to play former club Palermo on Saturday, but the Brazilian could start the game on the bench.
Amauri joined the Bianconeri in the summer for a fee of around £20m after two successful years in Sicily where he scored 23 goals in Rosanero.
I spent two very beautiful years there, Amauri told Juventus Channel. To go back to a stadium where the fans worshipped me will be a strange emotion.
With respect to Palermo, I made a jump in quality when I joined Juventus. I will not celebrate even if I score.
Amauri may not get a chance to start, though, after fellow striker David Trezeguet impressed in a friendly, scoring four goals against Serie D outfit Lottogiaveno.
Partnering Vincenzo Iaquinta up front, Trezeguet was at his menacing best as Juventus strolled to victory, winning 8-0.
The Frenchman, who is the most prolific foreign goalscorer in the history of the Bianconeri, had an operation on both his knees earlier this season and has made only two appearances in 2008-09.
