But Kaka has some cause to smile as he was presented with an honour voted for by notable Brazilian players and Coaches as well as users of website Sambafoot.com.
The Brasilia native picked up 25 per cent of the vote with Manchester City's Robinho in second place and Luis Fabiano of Sevilla in third.
Kaka's latest trophy is the Samba Gold award, a statement on Milan's website reads.
The player has been recognised as the best Brazilian player in Europe for 2008 and has been awarded with the prize at Milanello.
Ricky personifies all the great qualities of Brazilian football thanks to the help of his teammates.
