| Borriello under the knife again |

Milan confirmed that Marco Borriello has undergone surgery to remove a cyst in his thigh, while Kaka is not in the derby squad.
Borriello has been extremely unlucky since joining the Rossoneri in the summer, as he was preparing for his comeback after several months out with a thigh strain when he sustained a new setback.
Today the former Genoa striker went under the knife to remove a cyst on the tendon of his right thigh. We will set the recovery time after the check-up in 20-30 days.
Alessandro Nesta could also require surgery after his back problem flared up again, but for the moment Milan have only said he will undergo more consultations over the next few days.
There were hopes that Kaka would recover from a sprained foot in time for Sunday night's derby and Carlo Ancelotti said in his Press conference that the Brazilian would be in the squad.
However, Kaka's name does not appear in the list of players for the clash with Inter. He is working every day at Milanello to return to the side in the predicted time-frame, continued the club statement.
The symptoms of pain have significantly reduced.
Felipe Mattioni, Andriy Shevchenko, Gennaro Gattuso and Zeljko Kalac are also sidelined, while Daniele Bonera sits out a ban.
Milan: Abbiati, Dida, Antonini, Favalli, Jankulovski, Kaladze, Maldini, Senderos, Zambrotta, Ambrosini, Beckham, Cardacio, Emerson, Flamini, Pirlo, Inzaghi, Pato, Seedorf, Ronaldinho.
