Maicon may miss D-day	Friday 13 February, 2009

Inter may be without key man Douglas Maicon for Sunday's showdown with Milan after the defender limped out of training. Maicon has become a pivotal figure for the Nerazzurri over the last two seasons and is seen by many as they best right-back in the world. And so it would be a massive blow for Coach Jose Mourinho if he were robbed of the Brazilian's services on the eve of a crucial Derby della Maddonina. According to Sportmediaset, Maicon was forced to pull out of training after picking up an injury this morning. Reports state that the Criciuma native was already suffering from a knock as he pulled up during a challenge and had to leave the training ground. There is no news as to the severity of the injury yet and Inter aren't making any Press statements ahead of the derby. Javier Zanetti may be forced to retreat to right-back for Sunday evening's epic clash.
