Vincenzo Iaquinta is concerned that Chelsea will be revived under Guus Hiddink ahead of the Champions League clash with Juventus.
Sacking Phil Scolari this week could destabilise the struggling Stamford Bridge side or give them a new lease of life.
“Chelsea were in a negative period but with the change of Coach, something will happen to them,” mused Iaquinta in The Sun.
"I expect things to be different. When we come to London, we have to be on our guard.
"You look at Hiddink's record and you see he has done well with virtually every team he has coached. He is always very well prepared for games like these."
The Italians know Hiddink all too well, as his South Korea knocked the Azzurri out of the 2002 World Cup in controversial fashion.
Juve meet Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on February 25 and the decider is in Turin on March 10.
