Baptista sees Roman battle
Tuesday 10 February, 2009

Roma striker Julio Baptista is proud that the Giallorossi are so deeply involved in tonight's Italy-Brazil friendly.

The two international superpowers are preparing to face off in front of a sell-out crowd at the Emirates Stadium in London.

And it will be a special night for several sets of teammates who will be up against each other.

“There will be six Roma players involved in the game,” Baptista told the Corriere dello Sport.

“This demonstrates the quality and the value of the Giallorossi at the moment.

“It's always special when you play for your country and I'm sure it will be a great game. Everyone wants to be involved in these fixtures.

“My experience in Italy has been very important for me. I'm showing my quality at Roma and I'm glad I chose to go there.”
