Former Milan striker has confirmed that Brazilian side Flamengo will be his next club.
El Fenomeno snapped a tendon in his knee while playing for Milan against Livorno last February.
After a painstaking road to recovery that has taken nearly 10 months, Ronaldo is back in training trying to recover fitness and has chosen his next challenge.
There had been far-fetched rumours that Ronnie would return to Milan and he had been targeted by Tuscan minnows Siena.
Flamengo then emerged as the favourites for the 32-year-old's signature, but Corinthians have pipped them at the post.
It's all true, the contract has been signed, Corinthians sporting director Antonio Carlos declared. The President met him last week and did the deal.
