| Lazio look to Elano |

Lazio may turn to Manchester City star Elano in an attempt to inject life into their flagging season.
The Biancocelesti were the revelation of the opening month of the season as they made an unexpectedly positive start to the campaign.
But a dismal League run that started with a derby defeat against Roma has hurt Lazio badly and Saturday's 3-0 defeat against Inter has left them seventh, in danger of being sucked into mid-table.
President Claudio Lotito is reportedly unhappy with the situation and is poised to enter the market in January to try and address the Aquile's slide.
There are reports on Lalaziosiamonoi.it that Lotito has identified Manchester City man Elano as the ideal solution to the problem.
The 27-year-old was a star man at Eastlands, but he seems to have fallen out with manager Mark Hughes.
Elano also holds an Italian passport, which would theoretically allow Lazio to add him to the ranks in January.
