Palermo patron Maurizio Zamparini admits he'd be more than happy to get rid of goalkeeper Alberto Fontana if Roma make an offer.
The shot-stopper has been pushed out of the side since Marco Amelia's arrival in the summer and is increasingly unhappy on the Sicilian bench.
When Zamparini was asked about rumours of negotiations with Roma for a January switch, the President didn't beat about the bush.
For the moment we have not received any calls from Roma, he told Romagiallorossa.com.
If there were contact for Fontana, I would be more than happy to get rid of him. He does not accept being second choice with us and, probably, he would agree to it at Roma.
Whenever Roma want to take him, there is absolutely no problem as far as we are concerned.
Fontana had been the original second choice last season too, but took over the gloves after a series of mistakes from Federico Agliardi.
He was left out of the squad for last week's 3-1 win over Milan, reportedly after refusing to sit on the bench any more.
Current Palermo goalkeeper Amelia is the Italy's second choice behind Gianluigi Buffon.
