| Budan goes under the knife |

Palermo's Croatian international striker Igor Budan will undergo knee surgery within the next few days.
The former Parma hitman has been unable to prove himself with Palermo this term due to knee pain.
Budan has regularly struggled with problems in his left knee and his latest operation will be conducted in Milan by the respected Professor Martens.
The procedure was nearly delayed because Budan was suffering from the flu, but he has shaken off the virus.
“The operation will take place in the next few days after the player is completely free of flu symptoms,” Palermo club doctor Giuseppe Puleo confirmed.
