Roma goalkeeper Alexander Doni is looking forward to a 2009 Champions League Final, but cannot forget the “strange things” he saw this year.
The Giallorossi were pipped to the Scudetto post in May with the last game of the season, as Inter’s 2-1 victory at Parma proved enough to secure the title.
“We could’ve won that Scudetto and there is still a lot of regret, because some strange things happened,” commented the cryptic shot-stopper.
Roma’s hopes of topping the Serie A table are already over this term after a disastrous start, but Doni has loftier ambitions.
“Our objectives are to finish in the top four and reach the Champions League Final, then we’ll see what happens…”
