According to newspaper reports in Italy, Roma are chasing Udinese striker Fabio Quagliarella for next season.
The Giallorossi are planning to find a valid replacement to Francesco Totti, who often suffers from injury setbacks and has been out for most of the current and past season.
However, Udinese director Pietro Leonardi has denied any negotiations involving Zebrette players.
First of all we don't even know if Quagliarella will be up for sale this summer, noted Leonardi.
What will happen from now until June will be fundamental so at this stage no one can say anything.
No one from Roma has contacted me and neither has Daniele Prade, he told Forzaroma.info.
Sometimes you read lots of things in newspapers which aren't actually true. All I can say is that Udinese won't be selling or buying any players in January.
But Quagliarella is not the only target for Roma and several reports have argued that the Giallorossi are also after Sergio Floccari.
It would be a great signing for Roma, said former Capitolino Alessio Cerci, currently on loan at Atalanta.
Before my arrival here I didn't know Sergio very much but now that I can see him training day by day I can guarantee that he is a valid player and I am sure many big clubs are following him.
Bergamaschi director Carlo Osti has confirmed that something could happen in the future but it will depend on the kind of offer Roma will submit.
It's obvious that we would let him go in June if a good offer came in. Our policy is to buy young players and then sell them, he said.
However, I would like to underline that Roma have no options over the players so we could be selling him to anyone.
