Brazilian goalkeeper Julio Cesar hopes his teammate Adriano won't leave Inter in the January transfer window.
There have been doubts concerning the future of the striker and even Coach Jose Mourinho has expressed his concern regarding the former Parma ace.
I want him to stay at Inter, Julio Cesar told Globoesporte. I am hopeful that he will overcome this difficult time and will sort everything out.
Both players are spending their holidays in their homeland and are expected to be back at Appiano Gentile on January 2.
Ahead of me I have six or seven more years of my career, but if I have reached this level I have to thank my first club Flamengo, added the 'keeper.
However, I can't see myself returning there to play. I would rather become their director and transform them into a club like Inter.
The Nerazzurri are currently top of the table and nine points ahead of Milan and six ahead of Juventus.
However, their Champions League campaign hasn't been so positive after finishing second to Panathinaikos in their group. They face holders Manchester United in the next round.
