Pirlo: I won't go
Tuesday 30 December, 2008

Italy midfielder Andrea Pirlo has felt to underline that he doesn't want to leave Milan anytime soon.

In the past few months there were rumours regarding negotiations with other clubs, including Barcelona, but Pirlo claimed he wants to stay at San Siro.

“At Milan I feel at home,” he told Fifa.com.

“I am at the most important club in the world and do not feel the need to move away.

“Everything I need is here so I don't want to try new experiences. All I want to do is to continue winning with the Rossoneri.”

The Diavoli are currently looking to strengthen their squad during the January transfer window.

Vice-President Adriano Galliani revealed they will be looking for a top-level left-back and according to Tuttomercatoweb Manuel Pasqual could be their first target.

Galliani also said that Marco Borriello will probably be out for most of January and it will be important for him to recover fitness.

Meanwhile, Benfica defender Kostas Katsouranis claimed the Lombardi are also interested in his services.

“Milan have been following me,” revealed the 29-year-old Greek international.
