West Ham United striker David Di Michele has denied rumours regarding a possible return to his former club Torino.
Di Michele, who is currently on loan in East London, left the Granata just before the beginning of the season due to various conflicts with Gigi De Biasi.
But now that the Coach has been replaced by Walter Novellino several sources have announced a possible return for the diminutive forward to the Stadio Olimpico.
I have heard news regarding my return to Turin, but I am only thinking about doing well with West Ham, revealed the 32-year-old.
Anyway it does not depend on me since I am on loan. Here in England I settled well and although I haven't been playing much recently I want to prove myself. he concluded.
The former Palermo ace has so far collected 12 appearances for the Hammers, netting only two goals.
We have several quality players and it is understandable that big clubs are after them. However, we are not planning to sell, added Hammers manager Gianfranco Zola
Torino are struggling this term and lie fourth from the bottom only one point ahead of the relegation zone.
The Granata will have to do without Elvis Abbruscato for the next 5 months and need reinforcements.
According to Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, apart from Di Michele, they are also chasing three new defenders in Paolo Dellafiore, Christian Zenoni and Alessandro Potenza.
